YOU ARE THE FUTURE!
We welcome all youth who are interested in our Youth & Government program! This program is designed to encourage youth to pursue academic and political education. Meet peers who are passionate about government, grow in public speaking and group interactions, and work toward your future after high school!
Program Information:
- Open to students in grades 7th-12th
- Meetings held at the Butler YMCA on Mondays, 6PM-8PM (September 2026-May 2027)
Important Program Dates:
- Elections Convention (Western PA): Sat., Nov. 21, 2026 @ Somerset Area Jr./Sr. High School
- Pre-Legislative Session (Western PA): Sat., Feb. 6, 2027 @ Homer-Center High School
- Model Convention: Thurs., Apr. 15-Sun., Apr. 18, 2027 @ PA State Capitol
